i am in the market for new rims and tires.. im going with a 15 for sure.. but im wondering how wide I can go with the tires? like the topic says it is a 97 hatch lowered on AGX's and H&R sport springs.. these have a 1.75" drop in the front and 1.5" in the rear. I ran 215/50/15 on my del sol years back with no issues and im sure those coilovers were cranked down more than my hatch is dropped. im looking at putting g-Force T/A Drag Radials on the fronts and want the widest contact patch possible. traction sucks now with the small turbo.. i can only imagine after the 35r goes on there =P

 

225 is the widest I have seen anyone go for a street tire. They should fit fine under the fender. Worst case scenario: roll the fenders a bit.

 

I have AGX, H&R sport and 205 50 15s on my 96 sedan and I only had to roll the fenders a small amount. No problems

 

i know 205/50/15 and 215/50/15 fit.. but i want to know if anyone has ran 225/50/15s without much trouble?? my fenders are already rolled because of the 17s on it now.
