Default Does anyone roll around on 195/60/15 for a Civic?

Anyone roll on 195/60/15? Is that an odd size? Most are 195/55/15. I'm afraid 205/50/15 may be too wide and "slow" the car down.

Any problems? With drop?

I roll on 195/50/15, fit perfect, on a 2" drop. Even with an offset of 38 on my rims.

I used to run 195/50/15 then went to 205/50/15. I liked 205/50/15 better. the wider tire seemed to be better in handling turns. 195/60 seems like an odd size....plus that's a beefy sidewall. I have sprint springs(they say 2 1/2 drop) that are a 2" drop and there was no problem with scrubbing.....I actually want to go lower. hope this helps.

I'm running 195/55/15 khumo ecstas
I will soon be ditching them for 205 50 15 khumo's
195 is ok...but 205 will handle much better.

I'm runnnig 205/50/15 Kuhmo Ecstsas, fits fine, doesn't slow the car down, follows ruts in the hihway a little more though.
Oh yeah ~1.5-2.0 inch drop. Dunno exactly, but on sportlines.

Yeah, I have 205/50/15's with Kuhmo's also, and yeah, haha they DO follow the ruts in the road pretty darn well...... but they work really well for me. I've got a 2.5" drop in front and 2.0" in the rear FYI...

I used to roll on 195/45/15, made by toyo t1's. Awesome handling tire as well in the rain. It's not too wide nor small, actually, it's smaller in diameter. It will make your car a little quicker since it will shorten your gear ratio a bit (in takeoff but lose top end). Not a big difference but a little. Right know I'm rollin on 185/60/13 yokos', no problem in performance in both ends.

But height different will be lowered depend on your drop? It varies, on springs and shocks, expect another half inch or so.

hey i have 195/50/15s for my slipstreams, they are Bridgestone S-03s, (87 bux or so) do u think i should get 205/50/15s? because S-03s are already a wider tire than most. i need new tires anyways, whatcha'll think?

going to a 205/50/15 shouldnt slow the car down at all, u may even feel an increse in power due the lower profile..lost of power usually comes from going to a taller tire..the 205/50 are about a 1/4 inch lower than 195/55 s and 1/4inch taller than 195/50 s
