When I did mine it took just under 2 quarts to fill up. Just keep pouring till it starts to dribble out.

: ROYAL PURPLE SyncroMax

Great minds think alike, LOL that was the plan. Had used it on my last car: Integra LS shifting was as flawless/smooth as an S2K transmission.

it should take 2 and then a little bit more...

it all depends on HOW you put the gear oil in.

if you fill it from the side filler hole with a tube and funnel, you will probalby only get about 2.25 in...but if you do like me and fill it with a long *** funnel after removing the VSS, you can get a LOT more in

i'm not sure if its good/bad, but one time i put about 3 quarts in that way and the trans felt smoother than it ever had. who knows?!

A lot of times I won't even bother checking it, I just put in about 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 quarts in.

At work, we have a 4 gal bucket with a hand pump and hook tube that we use to fill from the fill plug hole. You pump it until it dribbles out. Honda also makes a hand pump that threads onto the bottle top and you pump by squeezing the bulb.

get 3 quarts of MTF, drain and reinstall drain bolt, replace washers as needed. remove fill bolt and start filling until it starts to run out... just make sure your car is leveled..

Otherwise, I was told it will eventually mess up your transmission. I cant remember why?

[Quick threadjack question] I just recently replaced my tranny fluid with Acura MTF and got about 2 quarts in there and it was great but then this weekend, my car sat for a couple days and when i went to move it, it felt like i was shifting through mud. I know this isnt normal. Thoughts? Tranny flush necessary? [/Quick threadjack question]
