Guys, I'm only posting this here in hopes that someone is able to get in contact with Zack. I do not distrust him, I'd just like to speak with him and make sure he hasn't fallen off the side of the earth and taken my $$ with him.

Here's the story:

Zack (mlbz) bought my transmission a few months ago. I shipped it to him (actually to scott "2point6" @ his shop) and scott did all of zack's work.

When the trans got there they swapped the casing out because of a small crack that was in it when I got it that had travelled a little bit around the outside of the case, and Zack and I planned to work out a deal to somewhat share the cost of that.

Zack paid me half of the price for the thing up front ($675) and the deal was to pay the other half when the car got up and running. He had some weird electrical problems or something after scott was done with it. He mentioned his problems, I chatted with him to try and give a bit of help when that happened, and then haven't heard a thing from him since.

Emails, pms, scott called him, televator called or emailed, he replies to nobody.

Zack, if you're out there, please get in contact with me bud. I didn't want to go "public" like this but it's been a while since we've spoken and I'm a bit worried.

Zack is a great guy... I am sure he will show up and resolve this. That being said, I haven't been able to get in contact with him either. hmm

 

I just called Zack. He has no internet at his house right now. Matt he will be sending you a message soon. You will get your money back...relax lol

 

He come through when I dealt with him. Hope all ends up well for you two.

well I got a few texts from him today, hopeful of a resolution soon, fingers crossed on this one

He ripped me off on an h22a head. I even pm'd him back and asked for compensation and told him if he paid half the bill required to fix the pile of **** he sold me i'd be cool with that and not post up about it. This was about a year ago, and i'm fed up so **** it.

He sold me a h22a head, told me it was port and polished, told me it had a valve job done, new seals, new guides, the works basically. I took it to my machine shop to have it double checked. Turns out 8 of the guides were ruined, the seals were leaking on more than half the valves all old and worn out, there was a HUGE amount of metal shavings left from the port work, and i quote my machinst word for word "Whoever did this valve job should be taken out back and shot."

Guy is a douche. Seemed nice, was easy to deal with, ripped me off in the end and costed me $620 ontop of the $600 i paid him. I could have fully built my ****ing stock head i had kicking around. I vote ban!!

OHHH he told me he would fix the problem and help me out. Then i never heard from him again.

 

Mind calling him and asking when he is going to fix the problems he left me with? I'm out $620 because of the guy lying about the work done with the head. I have pictures of the proof and machine shop receipts.

 

It's gotta just be a goof up. He's been through a lot with his 'lude getting stolen twice since then and all... I have his old number, I'll try him on that. I'm sure it must have just slipped by him. I PM'd him not too long ago...

 

Okay, so that phone # no longer works. I did send him a PM here and on AZHT. I looks like he hasn't been active for a bit, but he should show up eventually.

Matt, I think I remember now that you asked me to tell him to get a hold of you.....I'm pretty sure I did tell him. I was sure he would have talked to you then...He really didn't talk to you yet?

 

Here I've been trying to get a hold of him and he's already talking to you.
