Just installed a turbo kit. I take it to 6k it starts to sputter,then let go of the thottle it dies. What do you think it is? Timing? spark plug gap? Im running stock fuel system @ 7 lbs. it runs crapppy with check valves, but runs better without. Im getting frustrated. Any suggestions would really help. Thanx in advance.

 

Stock fuel system at 7psi you say? I think I found your culprit..

what do you mean?

 

he means that if you have no fuel management on 7 psi....then thats your problem. You need to upgrade your fuel system. Depending on your car, that could include, fuel pump, fmu, afc, injectors, fpr. What about spark plugs? Did you get one colder than stock?

At 6k, your engine isn't getting enough fuel. So upgrade some ****.
