Alright everyone has probobly heard this question many times befor but im going to ask it again...
I got and 88 CRX HF w/ DX block and head everything else is HF and the motor is getting very tired (310k miles on it)
I would like to know what motor setup in terms of price, ease, and availability would be the best way to go
In other words what is the best Bang for the Buck??

bang for the buck.....
1. vtec head, ~200-300
2. zc, dohc or sohc(more common) ~500-600, d series tranny can be used, but if you have hf or dx tranny, si/zc tranny is highly reccomended.
3. d series vtec ~500-700

just get a used Si motor...or depending on your pockets, and your time frame...save for a B16...at least that's all I want...I'll run my Si engine into the ground if I have to...but I will have one...OH yes, I shall....
