Got a tip on virtually a showroom quality R for sale
Disclaimer, sorry in advance if I'm out of line for posting this. Either way it seems justifiable.
None the less, I just got a tip that Pikes Peak Acura in Colorado Springs has a mint PY on their showroom floor. Less than 35k on the clock. I'd like to see somebody here that understands how much of a gem that is scoop it up and treat it well.

Im wondering the same thing Im still under 30k. And really thats not a bad price for a car that is probably certified from teh dealer.
I visited this dealer when I was in Colorado last year. They have several race cars that they use for the track and autocross. I guess the owner is a big racing buff. He has his own NSX that he races and there was a track ready RSX on the show room for display purposes. Several pictures all around the dealer including ITR's and Civic's.
Gave me something to do while they changed the battery out on my aunts Odyssey, gotta love the 100 month battery warranty!!

From what I was told it's actually on the showroom in the 25k mark, it's currently trying to be sold on consignment.

That might not be too bad.
I paid about 24K for 97 #151, with more miles on it.

That price sounds high to me. Granted, it's not that often you see cars with fairly low mileage for sale so you don't have a lot of comparable sales, but still, I would have expected it to go for no more than $20K or thereabouts. Although this has below average mileage, it's not one of those cars that have really low mileage (i.e. under 10K).
Nice find, though.

"Acura Certified" used cars must be under six years old, so this car doesn't qualify. The dealership may offer their own warranty, but unlike the Acura Certified program, it won't be honored by any Acura dealer in the country.

I would much rather purchase an ITR that was slightly more used for ~$18000. Chances are you will throw it around a track anyway. No point in getting a $28,000 one to do it in.

Sad part is if you pay this much and get wreck once out the door,
wonderful Insurance company for sure give you back squat.
I have 27K miles and I doubt it can be sold for that much.

Fawking stealership. The original owner listed this on ebay back in June of this year. This is 01-0663. She was in Florida at the time and had just under 32k miles. She was previously a NY resident. The ebay ad had an opening bid of $20,900....don't think anyone bid. Wonder how much Acura threw him.....

Oh man, both the owner's ad and the stealership's ad are running at the same time.
Previous owner asking $19k.
Acura asking $29k.
Just in case someone is interested in this PY, there's some negotiating room

$10k diff..... dammm lol
Really though.... I like that ouR caR's are retaining value but for $29k you can buy a brand new TSX and strip it to the bare bones and cut the rear muffler with a hacksaw and call it a TSX R lol
