Default oem honda parts to upgrade a 95 civic cx

I'm looking for any oem honda parts that will bolt onto a 95 civic cx with minor modifications. I do not want to build a rocket, I just want cheap performance for my transportation while I am still in school. I already have a thermal cat back and a k&n filter. I am open to any parts interchanges. Also , is there a cam that will make noticeable power in a cx?

get ahold of a 88-91 crx si head complete and bolt that on

Is this another version of the mini-me? Why wouldn't you use the head from a 95 EX???

Building up that cx motor sucks ***! There are only 8 valves in that thing! Try to change to head.

you have to change the head and the pistons. the pistons only have valve reliefs for 8 valves. 88-91 heads have 16 valves... it no workY.

How do you know? Have you ever seen first hand the valve indents on the cx pistons? I'm not trying to challenge you, I just want a 100% answer, not a good guess.

If I bolt up a different head, can I still use my cx distributor? I would also like to stay away from vtec for right now. The wiring seems a little intimidating and not worth my time; I'm trying to squeeze power out of a cx!

ohhhhhhhhhhhh **** you are setting yourself up for disappointment if you are trying to make power from a cx engine.70hp isn't the most potent powerplant in the world if you know what I mean.hahahahahahaahha

What would the results be when mounting a EG EX head to an EG DX engine? Worth the time and money? Can it even be done?

How many times do i have to post this! There are 4 valve reliefs per cylinder, even on the cx!! I have done a mini me swap on a cx! Do the swap.

People, if you dont know the answer, dont post it! Makes me question all the responses i get here on H-T
