Hi my name is Kalligas Chris and i am from greece.I will like to introduce you my old civic and the things i have done to it.The hole idea to show to u my car is for u to see something just not say extraordinary or unique but something different than the usual path's that most follow for getting better performance.
The setup that the car runs right now is with the "momy honda " engine (1193 cc) with 38mm Itb's from suzuki gsx-r bike
Camshaft from catcams mod 2501106 (it's for d16a6 but it fit's and works just fine)
Exhaust --> heder from civic Esi (1.6 SOHC vtec 125ps), and custom made exhaust with 50mm outer dimension.
Above i give u a photo from the car in komotini's forest and the second phot is Dynosheet 3 days after the instaliation of the ITB's and with neutral Firing advance.
(when i say neutral advance what i mean , the avance in my car is controlled by the air pressure that the cylinder creates and not electronicaly so in the sort time of the 3 days i didn't connect right the avance and in the dyno is off)

Dynometer with the d15b camshaft (not the catcam ...i still don't have dynosheet with the catcam camshaft )

The car has very let's say ...vtev sound and runs very quick for it's displacement and the years that carries (almost 18 ! and with 1/2 milion km with no rebuild!),just to give you a meter at the track in serres city http://www.serrescircuit.gr/index.php?id=english
the Highlander (as my friend call my little grandpa ) runs at 1.46 while one of my friends with ITR DC2 230ps runs at low 1.38 with semi slick tyres.
That's all from me i hope that i didn't waste your reading time and i wish to all the honda lovers the best in the improvement big travell !
Thanx a lot!

Xa xa..nai nai pantoy yparxei enas allhnas telika ...apo poio meros eisai patrida ?
Dexter just wrote to me that "in the end everywhere there is a greek" and i answered him " yes indeed xe xe!"
The future mods are many ....like....bigger valves wilder camshaft with specific timming and lightweight pistons ..
The hole idea is to rev ...rev...rev....and though that the dimension of the engine is 75x67.5 it has a gift for high revving...
A smal video from the serres circuit

Got any engine bay shots?
Also you got a pic of the block code?
I'm not doubting you - I'd just like to see some up close pics of the 1200cc D engine that we never got here in the US.

Don't you have any durability/integrity issues since you've had the mod? I also have a D12 and I'm planning to go this route also. Just want to know how the whole setting holds up. thanks

Thank you all for the concern about the project ...the sad think is that i had an accident with the car and now from sedan has became hatchback with the help of a tree...it was my fault and the god wanted me to stay to earth so he saved me with a tree in my course..
