So both the hose leading from the block to the heater valve and the one form the valve to the firewall/heater core busted a few days ago..so I got some new hoses, and putting the one from the block to the valve without taking off the dizzy was already enough of a bitch and I lost a clamp and had to buy a new one in the process, but now I can't seem to get the hose that goes form the valve to the heater core loose.
It loosened just fine on the side that connects to the valve, i loosened both clamps and i was able to take it off, but it seems to be stuck to the connection on the firewall that goes to the heater core. Anyone have any ideas on how to pry it loose? I already tried yanking it and it didn't work, also due to the brake lines I can't properly get a screwdriver or anything else in there to try and pry it off. I've heard of people busting their heater core trying to remove that hose by yanking it, so I'm being cautious
Any help is greatly appreciated, and btw this is a 94 ej1 with a jdm d15b. Thanks in advance.

I wish I could help you more. In my engine bay, I have plenty of room to remove both hoses after taking the intake off. I can fit pliers and everything there. Not sure why you can't. You'r lucky at least that you were able to remove the hose from the valve (the one that the temperature ****/slider cable connects to) with no problem. When I replaced my hose, that hose was stuck on my valve, and without much force at all, I ended up destroying the valve. It was really brittle to begin with for some reason, maybe just too old. I was able to break off more plastic from the valve with just my finger tips.
Good luck on this. I know you know not to yank so, don't yank out of frustration. Hell, if you could fit a razor down there, you can cut a slit on the hose going longways.

if you can get a set of pliers back (which you should, being that you got the clamp off), grab the hose with the plier and twist it. this should break it free from the heater and you should pull it off.
if not, the razor will definately do the job.

Use a utility knife to slit the hose lengthwise, don't grab it with pliers, the inlets in the heater core are made of thin brass and are very delicate, its extremely easy to crush them trying to get the hose off with pliers.

you can use pliers (done it before), just don't squeeze or clamp too hard on the hose.

Thanks guys really appreciate the help. I got the hose off by cutting it length-wise using a sharp kitchen knife. Really happy to have been able to get it off, putting the other one on was a bit of a challenge because of the space constraints but I got it.
Thank you for all the help, got my problem solved and my car is back to running cool and not leaking.

Glad we could help. I'm still wondering why you have such limited room though. Right now I have the heater core bypassed since I still (till this day) do not have the heater valve. If it's a COLDDD *** DAY (rare in FL,) in under 2 min I hook up my heater core (without the valve), then off to school/work I go. I keep the core plugged up of course so critters don't make it a home when it's not in use.
I bought a new heater valve but it didn't come with the lil metal swing/clip that the cable connects to, and I lost my broken valve. I ended up returning it. Here in FL I seriously don't have a need for a heater. I'm from NY so I'm used to cold weather and love it.
DAMN IT.. IT JUST DAWNED ON ME. Why the hell didn't I look at hondaautomotiveparts.com for the swing rather than only relying on the auto parts store? AHH..
HAH, found the complete assembly. Couldn't find it at the honda dealer site (must be looking in the wrong places) but I found a site that sells the "complete" heater valve assembly in case any of you break them trying to take a hose off
