im tryin to reset it, i mean i could just turn it off i guess, but id rather just reset it. the thing im tryin to pull out seems to be what is described in the FAQ thread. a yellow 2 prong plug on the side of the fuse box. this is the only thing i need to get rid of for my car to pass inspection. i heard the dealership charges like 30-80 to reset it. and theres no way in hell im doing that.

I believe the connector in your car is just behind the knee bolster in a holder, to the left of the steering column.
You may have to lay on your back and look in the area of where the YELLOW harness goes up toward the steering wheel.

that stupid light. I to am wondering if I can just reset it myself. In my situation the previous owner rear ended someone lightly and the bags did not deploy but the light came on.

if you reset the light will it ever come out again? even if you detached your steering wheel for an aftermarket brand like I did? I still have the airbag for the passenger side though
