Default ScanGaugeII, Anyone ever heard of this or tried it?

My dad just saw this on TV and asked me to research it for him. The device seems cool but I've had more bad experiences than good ones with Seen on TV stuff (3 products out of 10 actually do what they claim to do.) This would be hooking up to a 1999 Pathfinder. It wouldn't work for my civic unfortunately since I have OBD1.

Here's the link.

Is this too good to be true or does it really work?

Thanks!

many people here use them

the scan gauge will do nothing but give you data and clear codes. you can do very useful things with the accurate real time data is why people use and love them.

Grr I wish I could hook one up to my EG. I guess I'll order it for my dad then. Some of the features seem interesting. Will hook it up to my girlfriends 96 accord as well to see what's going on inside the brain of her ECU.
