Check Engine light comes on after 5,000 rpm.
I recently put in a jdm gsr in my DA and I am currently using an ECU from a B17 that has been chipped with mugen (It has unlimited revs and whatever, I got it from a friend) . Each time I rev the engine pass 5,000rpm the check light comes on. I checked all the wires and they seem to be all good. Plus for some weird reason, when my car sits and idles, the rpm would go up and down 500 rpm. When the engine is warmed it sometimes idles at 800 rpm but after driving the car for a while and when coming to a stall the rpm would idle up and down again. LMK what you think.
I requested a short story for a title.

Why do people try to guess? The ECU displayed a CEL, pull the code and it will tell you exacly why. It makes diagnosing the problem much more efficient.
OP, look in the FAQ thread for CEL code pulling instructions.

True. This is the very first thing you should do when they get a CEL.
