I have S2K seats in my DC and was thinking of swapping them for some RSX seats. The big issue is that the S2K seats don't recline because they're from a 2 seater. I figured the RSX seats would be more comfortable, but the S2K seats would give better lateral support. Any opinions?

Well, that answers it! I thought the RSX seats would be a straight drop in. Thanks for the info.

 

So are S2000 Seats a direct bolt on?

 

Pretty much, 3 of the 4 bolts work. The other you just have to fab a bracket for, it's really easy. You can always use DC or EG rails for a drop in fit as well. I reall can't complain about them, they're great seats, I just thought the RSX seats would be more comfortable.

Interested in seeing pics if you got any? Just curious how they look. Even when driving the s2k i feel like they dont recline very far but figure thats just because the limited space.

i have some rsx seats in my integra and they look sick but i havent bolted it down yet looks like its going to cost me alot of money to modify them to bolt on so im thinking of selling them now

 

Im gonna jack a seat out of the s2k and throw it in one of the tegs to see how it looks. Maybe ill snap some pics for ya guys

 

with the right mods a s2k seat will recline..do some research..i have seen a fully reclineable s2k seat. if u decide to get rid of them though, i will buy them

sorry the car is long gone. but i know he mentioned something about changing rails? idk but if i were him just keep them and toy with them. I remember asking him how did he do it but it was last summer.

 

S2k ftw jus change the seat pan.. so you can use your stock rails

 

what seat pan do you use the factory integra one?

The stock one will work, but it's worth it to find a junkyard and get a set of stock EG fronts and use those pans as they're exactly the same and will leave you with your stock (and much more valuable) seats still in tact.
