are there any distributors that will work on my obd1 h22a with an internal coil?
i need a complete new distributor.
or how hard is it to get a distributor from another h22 that has an external coil and wire it?

That's a confusing question.

Doesn't the external coil have a cam position sensor, and the internal-coil one uses a separate crank position sensor? I thought? I could be wrong.

What do you have right now, what's wrong with the external coil?

 

you can put a d series or b series guts off the dizzy into the jdm dizzy

 

they do yes. but i have an Internal coil now. and my distributor is beyond repairs i think.. like theres some gear before where you put on the rotor. this gear is completly stripped.i dont really know what it does tho... (no shop manuals show this wierd gear) like all the teeth got broken off.. pretty sure it was by the screw holding on my rotor that fell off and tore thru everything.

 

well i was going to do that but i think i need a new core as well.. like i said the inside is just wrecked..

 

im wondering what core can i use? mabe a 94+ integra ls or gs?

 

What did you end up doing? My dizzy went out on my h22a. The part where the rotor goes onto is all loose. I need to replace it but did you just replace the insides with that of a b/d series?
