ground control coilover question
I used to have these on my nissan 200sx with a set of agx's. My question is how well will these coils ride with the stock struts, just untill I can buy some struts later on. I know for my 200sx the stock struts would blow because they couldnt handle the stiff springs of the gc's.
no i sold the 200sx and i have a gsr now and im looking for a inexspensive suspension setup to get a better stance and a stiffer feal and better handling

GC's on stock shocks will ride like total @$$, and will get worse the more the stock shocks wear out.
I highly suggest saving up your money until you can get quality shocks. When I first bought my GS-R, I rode on stock suspension for 8 months until I could afford Koni Sport shocks and lowering springs. I've had various spring combinations over the years, but I'm still running the Koni shocks over 6 years and 160K miles later. I would not expect any $250-$300 set of shocks to last near that long w/ lowered suspension, so I'd say they're definitely worth it.

what are a good set of springs, not coilovers, that give a good stiff ride with a decent drop, I might go with a nice spring and strut for now and get some ground controls later when I have more cash flow and if the drop isnt good enough for me
