FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR
So your car is stock, both ecu and engine? If that's the case then I don't think an aftermarket FPR will help you. Sounds like to me your engine is not burning up all the fuel in the combustion chamber and it's causing you to back fire. Try doing a tune up, spark plugs, wires, dizzy cap, and all that good stuff. And please someone correct me if I'm wrong.
The thing is that i did the oil change and at the same time i changed the spark plugs, but you said something about a dizzy cap........... ? and its also letting out alot of white smoke when change gears....and this started happening when i did the oil change.

I don't think the distributor cap by itself would make your car back fire but I would still replace the cap and spark plug wires if the are old. What plugs did you use?
