We will be meeting at Two Rivers Skate Park 9am sharp Saturday Morning, then leaving at 9:30 to head east. We will be taking 40 to 140 which goes through Alcoa. Check in is at 11, so we will check in then unload and head to the gap for the day, then hit it again Sunday. More info to come.

I heard through a reliable source that part of Deal's Gap has had the road grooved to stop high speed driving.

 

to bad that's the same days as VIR gt live ill be in Virginia

 

I drove the Dragon last week...it wasn't "grooved" as far as I could tell. Team Integra had their annual meet last year and noone ran any slower than they used to...

 

Thats good to know. Hope by this time next year I'll be able to run the Gap.

 

I'm hoping I can make it to this. Work owns me.

I'm pretty sure it isn't grooved. When I came home from my hike on the AT it seemed normal. As normal as riding in a car after doing nothing but hiking for 2 weeks I guess. This was about 2 months ago.

 

 

I'll at least drop in at some point.
