If you switch to a Mugen intake and Fujitsubo RM01A exhaust it will really quieten it down alot. Best of all, you can still do the future mods you want to do and I bet you will go up in HP from where you are at now too.

an intake would quiet it down, but not nearly as much as a good quality exhaust, i would look into mugen twin loop

I might have a JDM length twin loop for sale soon... just sayin...

But IMO I would suggest the Mugen intake as mentioned, and instead of the Mugen TL, I would say the Hytech TL.

Mugen Intake + Hytech TL > ***

Or just get an AEM CAI and Thermal 3" Exhaust.

Change your exhaust first, then if it is still too loud, do the intake.
