wats up HT i just wanted some opinion on my car becasue i kind of recently bought an acura integra GSR 1998 and it looked ok but i think im regreting buying it becasue it seems it has problems but the one that worries me most is that i confirmed that when i rev my engine high black smoke comes out of the tail pipe and when i lift my hood where the headers connect to the block its stained with black smoke and i see stains on my hood as well. i replaced the exhaust manifold gasket when i bought the car but still. I read alot on here and im guessing its the pistons rings.

Another question i had was if i did need new rings should i buy new pistons and rods since im going to spend a grip of money to open everything up and replace the rings becasue i came across a pretty good deal on a set of je forged pistons and eagle rods and rod bearing and piston rings.

And my last question was that the deal i came across he bought it for his integra LS and i checked the pistons they are made for my car (B18C) 81.5mm/9:1 but im kind of skeptical of the eagle rods becasue on the site it says its for LS but will it fot my GSR? Also the rod bearing as well it says its for a B17A/B18A-B/B20B and it just missed my car but still trying to confirm it. i email the site with my questions but just trying to get some community opinions on Honda tech as well.
