Default Rota Slipstream Rims (Group buy sign-up)

The Rims I've been trying to get are Rota Slipstreams from RotaWheel.com:

Color: Bronze
Size: 16 x 7
Bolt Pattern: 4 x 114.3
Offset: +45

They say they are on backorder and might be producing them in September. They seem hard to get.

The main hold up is the color bronze and the bolt pattern. These Bronze Rota SlipStream Rims look very nice with a Milano Red Prelude!

Is anyone else interested in getting these rims? If so, let's get a buying group going!

More pics on a different car...

Go group buy! If there's more than one interested I'm sure it'll give them plenty of reason to make these again.

Nope, they may list them but they don't have them in stock, believe me. I'm in the same boat preludeuser. I was searching around back at the beginning of the year for the same rims. Every site that listed them, even the ones that didn't. They all said the same thing "we don't have them in that specific color for that bolt pattern". Only a few said they could special order straight from Rota, but it'd take...I can't remember, I think they said like 5 weeks before they got em in. And who knows how much more it'd be to have them special ordered. At the time I couldn't, now I've just been too busy to even check around.

But if you say they may be producing more in September, I say I am in.

Again, one of the many sites I searched. They could have gotten them in stock the past few months. But even sites like these that posted they have them, I'd actually purchase them, get the receipt and a little bit later get a refund because they don't actually have them.

If Rota themselves say they may not have them until September, no one else will probably have them until September

Yea, I called around to a lot of rim retailer websites and they didn't have the ones in stock that I wanted. One even went as far to say that no one has them and the place to contact to get them is rotawheel.com. I spoke to Kim over there at rotawheel.com (kim@rotawheel.com). I'll let him know that others are interested. He should... have them available in September from what he said back in July.

cow1787 - if you're still interested in those rims, email kim@rotawheel.com or kimcosmic@juno.com to let him know that you'd like to buy a set when he has them ready in early September. I did look back at my prior emails with him, and he said he will have them ready.

wrong. some stores may have them in stock as people may have not purchased them. just because rota doesn't have any stock doesn't mean everyone else doesn't have it. i doubt these rims are THAT popular to the fact that no one has it .
