Default 'toda sport disc/oem presure plate'

so inline4 has a toda street disc and oem presure plate for 300, which is a lot cheaper than most after market clutches including exedy oem replacements.

has anyone run this, i have a n/a f20c with a ported intake manifold, hondata gasket, 2mm over tb, stock flywheel and stock rear end. my oem clutch is dead, and i think i'm going this route.

i autox about 5-6 times a year. very mild street driving, in fact i **** a lot of people off behind me =\

what do you guys think?(i'm going to make a chicken and wheat samich)

You are going to want an aftermarket pressure plate, that's were are the gains can be found. Allot of people run a stock disk with aftermarket PP.

The ACT HD pressure plate is popular. You can get a kit from HTG here. However, it might be cheaper to contact one of our sponsors about the PP and get the clutch disk from a Honda parts retailer online. I have never priced it out piece by piece so I don't know. If it were me I would upgrade the disk as well but that is your choice. It sounds like the toda one you are talking about is comparable to the Exedy stock replacement one which is not anything special.

ug, seems like after a bit of research the pp also fails hard. I'm now down to 2 choices, act hd kit, or spec stage 1, so far i'm thinking spec

so i guess toda doesn't go with the oem presure plate, so i dunno why inline4 sells it.

Hi Nick,

Thank you for your e-mail.

Our clutch disc is not designed to work with factory pressure plate. You will need to purchase the kit if you want to run our cluch kit.

I suggest you replace your pressure plate and get matched clutch pressure plate and disk even if you don’t run our products.

Thank you,

Best Regards,

I run the Cusco hyper single and my only problem is the chatter. Holds great.

The problem with the ACT kits is that you'll have to buy new bearings as they do not come with the ACT kit.
