So I am going to install my Valentine 1 in my new Civic 4 door EX. Is there a easy switched 12 volt that would be easy?

Has any one done this and found the best location? I get my civic in the next day or 2.

 

u can tap into the area where your map lights are next to your rear view mirror

 

I have mine tapped into fuse #9 in the fuse box inside the car.

 

the "cleanest" way has already been stated:
tap into the map lights 12v constant. unless you are planning on mounting the v1 lower on the windshield.

 

I just picked it up. My model is the EX with a sunroof. The sunroof switch next to the map light, I should be able to tap into it right? I figure there must be 3 wires, constant, ignition accessory, and switch.

Any idea if I'm right? All this is assuming I can get the little V1 black adapter up in there.

 

dont tap into the sunroof, tap into the dome lights. they also have a constant.
