I just swapped in B16a into my EF. Its throwing a (Code 21 VTEC Solenoid Valve) I tried cleaning the VTEC solenoid, Changed the oil, checked my connections on the ECU pin A8 and its still throwing a code. When I get home I'm gonna use my voltmeter and check for continuity. Any other suggestions?

 

is vtec engaging? sounds like you need a new solenoid

 

I got home looked at my ECU. I put it on the wrong pin.

Got it fixed, now its giving me a (Code 22 VTEC Pressure Switch) any suggestions?

 

Check to make sure the pressure switch pin is into the correct spot in the ecu. You can also get a factory service manual from helms for a 1995 delsol VTEC and troubleshoot the pressure switch.

 

i believe the pin out for the pressure switch is d6 and the solenoid is not a8 but i believe its a4 i had to "ghetto" rig my vtec wires the other day during my swap
