Waste of money, take that 6k trade in the prelude, and get a stock car thats fast.

Thats right, trade in the Prelude with non Vtech

I was in your situation about 6 months ago. I had 5K to blow since I was going to get a new car but the insurance would kill me at $300+ a month.

I would go get a cheap F series engine with iron cylinder walls. Not sure whice engine exactly but one out of an accord. Then boost the **** outta that bia. Thats what I wish I would have done.

What I did was buy a JDM H22A and M2b4 LSD tranny. Had it installed with new t-belt, water pump, clutch, flywheel, motor mounts, and some other little things. I also installed Tokico illuminas with H&R springs. All that for under $5K just to give you an idea.

Dont get me wrong I love it now and its been very reliable and good on gas. Its def fast enough on the streets but I could only manage a 14.8 at the track.

No, I did not want to read that. You sound like another teenager who has a bunch of fantasies...

K23A1 is a factory turbo K-series. It's bada$$ but you won't be able to do it.

first of all a k23a1 only come is acura mdx so goodluck trying to make it fit in a prelude..if you have 6k and want to do a good swap just switch from h23 to JDM H22. it will be faster becuz u have a lighter car and if u soop it up good enough u can be shittin on regular rsx wit a k20...so keep ur money bro and just get a JDM H22........

It's from an Acura RDX and Hasport already makes K-series mounts for 4th gen Preludes, so it shouldn't be as hard as you are thinking.

Has natural selection taken care of this f*cktard yet?

I know this is an old thread but, seeing that someone already necro-bumped it, I felt like making an early morning comment on it. Anyway, time to read the rest of the thread...

hey.. it's 2011... no one gives a **** about the 4th vs. 5th gen debate now. grow up and pick the one you want or move on to something else. i'll hop on a goddamn crotchrocket and say my 1:3 whp:weight ratio trumps 99.9% of the preludes out there.

No, mine comes from retarded, f*ckwad, illiterate, pants-drooping, fast & furious douschewads who bring their bitch-boy persona with them online.

I bet your anger stems from all the people who tell you that you have a cue little Accord.

I delivered two girls to their car, about 2 miles away, on my TL1000S once. One up on the tank facing forward and the other on the back. Maybe a little red Flyer would have been the ticket for the fourth?
