Dont buy a Phone from craigslist lol ...But if you do....

1.Make sure the phone is charged
2.Make sure you test it
3.Make sure its not stolen and you just got sold a bunk item

4. cut all this out by making sure they charge it and if they say its battery is dead then say no deal ,Chances are its broken and dont work

 

A couple things people usually miss.. check if vibrate and speakerphone still work and the charger will plug in and charge. Also if they say it's not stolen then tell them you want to activate the phone to your account before you buy it or that you want to call Verizon to verify the ESN (serial number) is useable before you buy it. Verizon/Sprint or any of those CDMA phone companies are the riskiest since they can just brick the phone if it's stolen or the account was closed because of non-payment.
