so i have a ex cluster in my cx and the speedo doesnt work i noticed a extra plug in on the ex harness compared to the cx. i read it was plug and play so whats the problem?

 

It is plug and play. The extra plug is for the cruise control plug which you will not need to plug in. Did you put in the CX speedo from your original cluster into the EX cluster? If so, the screws might not be tight enough. Or did you just put in everything from the EX cluster into your CX? If so, you might have a bad speedo.

 

naa ive tried 2 differ speedos and VSS and still so speedo. maybe bad connection on VSS?

 

Corrosion on the VSS plug can do that. Perhaps cleaning the metal contacts will make it will better.
