just lowered car, questions..
Ok so I finally lowered my dc2, well the rear at least, didn't do the fronts yet, I have ground controls on stock struts for now. My ride is ridiculously stiff I mean very stiff, when im driving and my car bounces, its just soo stiff, especially around town it bounces a lot but its a stiff bounce, barely any rebound. at first I thought maybe I was bottoming out or something but that's not it, everything was installed correctly , we cut the bumpstop, so is my ride supposed to be stiff like this, im thinking my shocks are blown, I had already planned to get koni's in the next week or so,and im not bitching I just want to be sure everything is correct,im pretty used to it now, but I just want to see if anyone elses ride is or was like this, before they got new shocks, I don't know what the spring rates are btw, is there any way to tell?
You can read the springs rates on the springs themselves.

Since the GC springs are just Eibach springs made to GC's specs you can discern the spring rate and dimensions. Eibach labels their springs in the following order: Length . Diameter . Spring Rate
They may come labeled in either English (inchesx100, inchesx100, lbs/inch) units or Metric units (mm, mm, N/m)
Example
180.64.61 (metric)
is the same thing as
700.250.350 (english)
The conversion from Metric to English is (/.254, /.254, x5.7)
In our example above, the stamping tells us that our example spring is 7" long, 2.5" in diameter, and has a spring rate of 350pounds per inch
