hello, i have a problem with my ls/vtec leaking lots of oil threw the oil pan. i changed it 2x and still leaks.. its a b18a block, itr pistons. would i need a breather?? if so which would work best.. thanks.

 

do you have a gasket on it? Are you using a b18a oilpan? Try using some Copper RTV sealant ontop of the gasket and tighten down all your bolts to the spec listed in your haynes/chilton

 

this might be silly but did oucheck the threads inside the oil pan. that is why mine leaks someone before i owed the car striped put the oil pan threads. you could try jb weld too.

 

actually are you making sure to only torque the bolts to the correct spec.. if you tighten them too much you will just break the gasket everytime

 

im ion the second gasket. i put RTV on it and still leaks alot.. i didnt torque the tho. when i go in vtec then it well leak a lot. and some oil is going threw the oil filter,,, whats happing?? would a breather work??
