Default A/C probs with a 91 Civic 1.6

Ok to be through here is everything I know.
Sanden Compressor.
New Drier

When I originally started to trouble shoot this issue, the compressor would not come on. As soon as I added some freon, it did. Obvious was low.
The A/C blew damn cold for about 2 minutes then got warm again, but there was still freon in it. The pressure climbed to over 120-130 and the switch turned off the compressor.

This combination of problems told me that there was probably a blockage in the system. Vacuumed out the remaining of freon and removed the lines completely. I used my air compressor with blow gun tip to blow them out.
I go to blow though the high (input) side of the evaporator and there is a great deal of resistance. While I would expect some due to it having to flow through the expansion valve. I was pumping air at 100-120 psi and very little was flowing out the low side. But it was flowing out.

So here is the question, I will assume that the expansion valve is located in the a/c box in the car. Just how hard is it to replace/get to?

I have also replaced drier.
