hey guys still needing help, how do i read the check blinks? is it right when i turn the key? cuz when i turn the key the light beeps one long time, then 9 times after that, so is that a 19 or a nine? help me out please thanks alot
I did not need special tools, but i might have just been lucky. when you fine your ecu you have to count the blinks and the blinks translate in to what the problem. I am not sure where you would get the blink translation though. i have mine in my manuals. if your trying just to pass smog i changed my cat my muffler my spark plug my air filter and dumped sea foam in my gas tank and crank case( sea foam in a petroleum base product that helps clean all the carcon out of your engine). changed the oil and the o2 sensor along with the pvc valve and the fuel filter and oil filter.

Start the engine!! And count right after you start the car there should be a few second delay before it stars. There will be a gap between codes if there is more than one.
i read up on code 9, its for my cyp sensor, people say its my distributor but i have a brand new one in, could someone show me how its supposed to be wired up?
