Forged Block for H22a?
I don't know if that's what it's called, but here goes.
I've seen these for B series engines but I'm doubting it's available for the H22a. Basically rather than spending the $$$$ to sleeve the block, you can buy a 'forged' block. Does someone make these? Are they cheaper then sleeving or more? TIA

Dart makes an aftermarket B-series Honda block. Maybe that's what your referring to. It's not forged, its cast, but really beefed up over the stock casting. I don't know if they make if for the lude tho'

It's cast (forged, cast I wasn't sure what the diff was anyway). So IF it was made for the H22a could forged pistons be run in it? Since that whole H22a/FRM coating thing would be gone. Too bad nobody makes it. How much does the B-series block go for. I'm trying to contrast it with the price of sleeving. All theoretical since there isn't a aftermarket block available.
