Well, while changing the drive belts on my girlfriend's 97 DX MTX, I realized that the drive side lower engine mount was bad. The rubber arms coming from the center of the mount were ripped in a few places, and that it should be replaced. Now I'm wondering, which mount should I replace it with? OEM? Or maybe something stronger? I would like something much more durable, but don't want it to transmit more vibration to the chassis. Suggestions?
OEM is probably your best bet bud (all the ones I have found are a bit expensive), and Energy Suspension makes urethane inserts for them (I have a set for sale BTW
).
Here's one for $32:

Yea, I'll probably just pick up an OEM one. Two of the arms were almost ripped through and when I went to put the mount back in it ripped completely though. Should be fine driving without that one for now, doesn't seem like it was doing a whole lot before and probably won't make much of a difference throwing the old shitty one back in. Thanks for the help.
