for years i ran a cable b16 lsd with an ls 5th gear swapped n2 it. easy round town and low rpm on the highway with the ls 5th gear. my setup turned surprisingly good mpg`s for what i had. 2nd gen b16 ctr cams full portflow head package 9 lb flywheel single belt underdrive pulley, mugen pr-3. with the mugen i got bout 300-325 mpg, with the stock pr-3 one time i made it 418 miles on one tank of premium 93 octane.

i would recommend a y-1 lsd tranny for a B16A. Not too short, not too long.
