Default Volk TE 37 vs. RacingHart CP-035

Hey guys

I need new light rims for mein Rex in 16 x 7. I'm thinkin' about the Volk TE37 and the RacingHart CP-035. The CP-035 is a littlebit lighter as the TE37 (RH 10.8 lbs / Volk 11.2 lbs).

What would you take?

I'm also not sure which colour i should take, white or gold (for my black car)? Any suggestions?

Thanx!

orca

What more you like to see?

I made a lot of Pix in Monza where we were on track two weeks ago, but i got problems with my cam, so i can't show it yet. I hope the cam (and the pix) will be ready in August

I first only want to buy the Volk, then i saw, that the Racinghart ist lighter so i thougt it would maybe be an alternitive.

like those cp035's in the 15" size only weigh 7.5 lbs., powder-coated mine gunmetal metallic grey

also i have sustained some fairly bad pothole hits with no seeming damage (try to avoid at all costs anyway)

What not? Your engine must be pushing like 240bhp

Gunmetal is very nice and suits many colour cars..

My bitch' ride

The engine is not completed yet. The ECU is still stock (im runnnin' with 4 bar fuelpressure) and the airbox too. Next steps are the V-AFC and a big carbon airbox. We didn't made the engine only for peak power, torque was also a important part.

The first dyno (untuned) hat 200 hp at the Crank an 200 NM (148 ft/lbs).

I think with Apexi, airbox and tuned camshafts it would be a littlebit more.

More soon.

@Denny317: Over here nobody got Volks

How is you motor stroked to 2.0? What crank are you running? I'm at 2.0 also but I run a b18c1 block sleeved with 84 mm sleeves and a 89 mm crank.

It was a Bosch dyno, i don't know which one exactly. I have a look next time when i'm there

Mugen is too expensive! It's a custom made airbox from Rikli-Motorsport (It's the Civic Type R-team from the german DTC-Series).

@TBone: 85mm sleeves and a 87mm crank.

Bosch is precise..

Does the airbox look similar to this one?
