b16a swap question

Default b16a swap question

got my motor in from hmotorsonline.com. Just wondering if anyone else here has ever done the swap before. i set aside all day sat. and all day sun. (and monday night and tuesday night if need be) i want to know if this is going to be enough time

Doing that swap has been around as long as the crx itself! Just about everybody on here has at one point had a b swapped crx! If you have the know how and tools you should be able to do that swap in one day or less!

All the bolts on the transmission are 17mm, all on the front suspension are basically 17mm except for the brake hose bolts which are 10mm. All the motor mount bolts are 17mm and the axle nut is 32mm, you might need a breaker bar for the axle nut or a long pipe is good.

yeah it's getting done at my friend hoss's house. he's done it before said it would take all weekend. just wanted to ask some other's to see... thanks alot

oh yah i know..i got hasport mounts and shift linkage...innovative ac bracket...um new axles so i think i'm set i just was trying to reassure myself i'll be able to get it done in a weekend. heh

if you have every bracket, nut, and bolt you need it wont take any longer than the weekend.

You should be fine especially with your buddy helping you. I'm almost done with my swap and it took me about a week and a half. I had to wait for a bunch of parts to come in plus I upgraded my suspension and brakes
