Default Need Help!! Skunk2 Pro2 cams with 1mm oversized valves...

Can I use skunk2 pro2 cams with my 1mm oversized valves setup?

I know that the tuner series stage 2 can't be used with oversized valves, but what about the pro series??

I just want to emphasize that you should assemble the engine on a bench and measure valve-to-valve clearances. They are going to be tight. I would imagine your cam timing will be somewhere in the +1 I / + 6 E range.

Just be very careful. I've ran BC4's, BC5's, Pro2's and Pro3's, and the Pro-series stuff has extremely tight v2v!!

You ran BC4's, BC5's, with the pro2 and pro3's but are your valves oversized? j/w

I am running OE sized Supertech valves.

However, V2V was measured on each build, and there is room to play with, but you MUST measure clearances and adjust cam timing accordingly. There is a reason Skunk2 has recomended centerlines of 99/106. Skunk2 does not recommend oversized valves because very few take the time to measure V2V before assembly.

I know of at least one motor running Pro3's with 1mm OS intakes.
