Default Del Sol bodykits and supercharger

I drive an 89 crx si but Monday I will be acquiring a 95 del sol w/ the sohc vtec. I was first wondering where you can find a good body kit, best price for what you get deal. I was also wondering where I can get a good supercharger.

dude, your a moron... the reason, people are saying this stuff is because bodykits and superchargers (except on a nsx,s2000,and a eg/dc2 with a k20) suck...
find a lip kit on ebay... not a bodykit...
and a turbo setup will give you motor whp
were trying to help you out, so you don't waste money and hate the end result

Considering it is my car, I'd like to have it the way I'd like.

I had a stock body for my 90 crx and my current 89 has a stock body with a lip and I thought for once I'd try something different.

One of the best crxs I've ever seen was supercharged and, to me, it was nothing short of sexy as hell.

My girlfriend's brother also has a crx with a turbod DOHC ZC and comparing the two I just felt that the supercharged crx was more my style.

Sorry if what I want for my car isn't the most popular amongst you guys, perhaps I'll go back to the crx forums or try elsewhere.

so youre going to completely deny the fact that turbo would be the better way to go in order to make power out of your enigine? thats like shooting yourself in the foot...

have fun with the sol none the less. i would say go suspension first if it is stock. del sol stock height is similar to a small truck :/

oh and you said your buddies had t/c and s/c DOHC's even then i would go turbo but tha t either way you have a SOHC. turbo will be best bang for you buck... or even spray?

It has adjustable coilovers on it, and when I looked at them they looked new but the seller wasn't sure what brand they are. I'm hoping it's nothing cheap because I don't look forward to replacing them.

The car does have only 70k original miles on it though

Everybody quit being an *** to this guy. You can throw in your opinion and let him know that you'd like to see his car go another route, but if he says that he likes something more, let it be. It's his car, not yours.

Here ya go: http://www.importparts.com/sho...=3906

Good for you, it's alright to spend your money as you see fit for your needs. There is definitely a reason to go with a supercharger vs. turbo depending on what you're trying to accomplish.

Thanks for the sites, trying to not pay too much for stuff.

Other news, got the car today and hoping to post pics of it tomorrow.

I'll also be looking for an exhaust system, thinking techtonix or flowmaster maybe, not sure how each of them sound.

Also have some stuff to replace in the car that was painted blue by the previous owner and it makes the car look kind of ricey. Lol, it also has "Rice" toyota mats in it from some car dealership I assume from around where the owner lived.

Engine is cleeeeeean. Looks better than my girlfriend's brother's jeep compass that he only has 35k miles on. Runs very strong as well, always had CRXs with d16a6s in them and it's nice when the vtec kicks in.

Don't put a Flowmaster exhaust on a Honda, that's just begging for the worse sound imaginable.

Go with a well known, quality exhaust like an APEXi turbo-back or something like that, even a NOIR if you don't like to have big shiny exhaust tips at the rear of your car.

Oh, and please get whichever body kit you choose to fit correctly before you start driving the car. Don't forget to paint it, either. Primer isn't cool anymore.

Good luck! Props for doing something different.

I meant that the d16a6s in my crx weren't vtec but the vtec in the del sol I just picked up had the vtec.
