Default key stuck ignition MANUAL!

Help hondatech, i have a 98 hatchback and the key is stuck in the ignition. I can't switch it to the first position, but i can switch it from the 2nd to the 3rd. when i turn the car to the 3rd position, the car wont turn on. I can hear the main relay nad fuel pump priming, but no crank or anything. i can push start the car so i know its nothing to do with the engine.

check your ignition plug on the back of the key cylinder. Take the white part off use a flat had to see if the car turns on. if it does the tumbles in your ignition cylinder are no good if it doesn't then you might have a power problem in that section of wiring.

just jiggle it hard and pull it out like someone else did not too long ago.

makes no noise? like the starter isnt even trying? check the clutch switch.

i dont think it's the clutch switch because the car will start if i put the key on the crank position and push start it.

edit, yeah it makes no noise. in the car starting position i can hear the main relay click and fuel pump working. thats all. no click from the starter or anything.

the clutch switch not being pressed in is what stops the starter from starting when your trying to start it, just check it. Itll push stop if the clutch switch is broken or not. Look under the clutch pedal, follow it, and you should see a switch near the end.
