Intake install on 97 accord
My buddy just picked up a short ram intake for his 97 accord and asked me a question about it. I went out to take a look and i'm stumped -
Basically, the resonator that sits under the stock pipe seems to go into some box underneath the actual intake box.. which then has a vacuum line running into something else? I couldn't really see because it was dark - but how does he install the short ram with that? What is it?
I've installed intakes on 4 cars now and never seen anything like it, my civic didn't even have it.

The box under the intake and it sits inside the fender right?
Take out the fender wall by taking out those screws and then you should see the box. Just jack up the car a little so when you unbolt the resonator box, it would just drop out.
If that's not it, take some pics so we can help some more.
