I have a j&s ultra safeguard 1/2ch import version, but I don't have the monitor..is there something I can make or buy to alert me to knock? All I really want is 1 bright led that I can mount on my dash. But I don't know if I can wire it in to the same part of the board that powers the little led on the front of the unit. (?) I suppose I could tap into that and make a little amplifier if the big led drew too much power, I don't know. Anyone have any knowledge on this? I know there was an audible unit available, but wasn't that only for the "classic" version? I don't really want that anyway, I usually can't hear **** over my stereo..
Thanks for any help on this, I don't really want to email John at j&s just to have him tell me to buy the monitor..

edit: forget the simple idea of amplifiying the signal from the little led on the panel..I forgot that it flashes with each firing impulse at idle, f having a led on my dash flashing like that..esp at night.
