i dont think its my fuel relay because my buddy had this problem on his coupe and he changed the relay and it still did the same thing. and the connections on my battery are fine cause my radio and everything electrical are functional. why would u think its the fuel relay though?
hmm now that i think about it if your main relay was shortin out your car would still crank, it just wouldn't start. you're sayin that your not getting it to crank. When you turn it to run does the car go through the prestart crap (oil pressure, check engine light, etc come on, and then go off) ? When you turn it to on you should also hear the relay click, and then hear the fuel pump whirring away in the back of your car. Since it seems that your starter is not even engaging thats what lead me to suggest the battery terminals were loose. i know they've came loose on my car on occasion, and when i go back out to start the car i get nothing. and sure enough it was the battery cable that had loosened up. If its not at the battery that your getting a break in the connection, i would try looking over your fuse panel for anything that seems out of the ordinary. And then check all the connections going to your starter. You shouldn't have to "bridge" or ghetto-rig anything for your starter to function properly.
theres a lil button on the top of the clutch arm. sometimes that lil button breaks and causes the car to not start at all. no clicking, blah, blah. reach up to the top of the clutch and try to press the button and start the car. most likely your problem since it happened with no warning and starts right back up. happened to two of my ef's

My ignition is having a problem similar to what D16YHATCH was saying, my cluster doesn't light up and the windows don't work when the key is in position 2, but when the key is BARELY into position 3, it all lights up and windows work fine. But if I put it in position 3 all the way to start it, it doesn't hold power for more than like half a second, any suggestions?
