92 f22b swap to jdm h22a w/lsd
hey guys i got a 92 prelude sr with a jdm f22b engine in it. im buying a jdm h22a with lsd tranny from torontojdm.com. does anyone have past experience with them? the price is fairly good. any other suggested places to buy this h22a w/ lsd shipped to canada?
another thing is i've been searching a while now and got a few tips. however i haven;t found anyone doing a swap from an jdm f22b to jdm h22a w/lsd.
the question i have is are there any extra parts i need when putting the jdm h22a into my 92 prelude. are there any interchangable parts i can reuse? will all the parts coming with the complete swap all i need? will i be needing new axels, shift linkage etc? is this a pretty complicated swap? will i run into problems?
basically i need as much info from whoever had pass experiences from swapping this engine. tips and suggestions are greatly appreciated. with your guys help this will make this swap alot easier for me thanks

are the axles with halfshaft, shifter assembly, shifter cables, stock motor mounts worth getting with the engine? if so i might just go with hmotoronline but are these parts necessary? can i still complete the swap without them and use the ones i already have? will these parts off a 2000 prelude work?
Your best bet is to get a service manual for each of those engines, or at least the h22. Those were my bibles during my swap...I had an f22a so i'm not sure how similar it is to the f22b. What I did was just study the engines and compare. The parts are bound to be similar. I found that to be the best way. As for all the parts coming with the engine, you need to contact the company you're buying it from and ask them. Steve at Hmotors is very helpful and i'm sure can point you in the right direction with what comes with the motor as there are different packages for the h22 swap. good luck..
