Default Yokohama Parada Spec 2 vs Kumho

How do they compare in terms of performance and traction? Im ready to buy some wheels and need some good tires. The ratings are basically identical, but how do you guys like them? Also, for a 5th gen accord, is there anything to be gain from a 215 tire over 205? Its either 205/45/17, or 215/45/17. Any advantages over the slightly wider wheel and more rubber on the ground on an accord?

Thanks a lot, im new to tires.

Both tires are excellent, I highly recommend the Kumho's.

Do they both give you the same amount of traction? Im talking at the track, but also in the winter time.

Now how do these compare to the yokohama ES100? Also, is the 711 or 712 kumhos better?

I love my 712's, but after a good plowing day at an AutoX on Sunday, I realize I need more grip...or an aftermarket suspension.

They're very sticky with good traction. The wet traction is actually better than a lot of all season non-performance radial tires I've driven on. Mine just seem to wear really fast and they're pretty expensive even though I get them at cost where I work.
Oh yeah and they look cool as hell!!

I can get them almost at cost too for the parada spec-2 so im straight and all my friends swear by the spec2 if you check out http://www.tirerack.com they have a rating system and the parada has higher ratings than the kuhmo.

so if anyone in NY wants a good deal on them lemme know.

I just replaced a used set I got with my rims with new Spec 2s and I'm having alignment problems so I'm not sure.I would say if your car is aligned and your not smokin' them you should be able to get 25-30K miles out of them

Well, I have the stock tires that are pretty much bald, so anything better than that will help in the snow!
