Well, since the B16A2 intake manifold doesn't have an FITV (fast idle thermo valve), will I have problems with not having it??????????
I have this manifold just laying there and it would definitely neaten up my engine bay if I could get rid of FITV.
What other problems would I have?
Just let me know. Thankyou for reading.

Nope. OBD2 manifold going onto an OBD0 motor.

same difference.
I'm doing a 99 F23 headswap on to a 93 F22 block, orignally i was going to use a 94-95 intake manifold because of this but i figured out how to get it to work., the IACV is differnt from OBD0or OBDI because OBDII has three wires and those have 2, the manifold itself has three holes one for coolant and 2 for air (OBDII), basically the FITV is built in the IACV on OBDII and some OBDI
I had to order a OBDII to OBDI IACV adapter plate that moved bolt hole loction as well as changed the square holes for air into smaller round ones (to match the IACV).
I ordered mine off of a company called BLACKTRAX, but it didn't work perfect, i paid 60$ for it i think, and ended up paying a machine shop to make the adapter plate thicker. then find a IACV off of a civic that has two a 2 wire and the coolant lines attached to it. I'm not sure what year the IACV is that i used. but i definatly dont want a CEL so this is what i did in my situation. hope this helps
