Default Rear Trunk Emblem Broke

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but my rear Honda emblem on the trunk of my brand new 08 Accord broke. The left side broke off and fell off. Nothing hit it or anything. It looks like there was no adhesive on that side of the emblem and it just came loose and broke off. Anyone else have this problem? Do you think the dealer would put a new one on there for me under warranty?

You can always ask.

Seems like another typical high school act.

Ripping emblems off of another person's car.

more than likely honda won't cover under warranty that is not a defect. my suggestion get some 3m double sided automotive tape, and stick it back on.

Yeap... or just buy a new one. They really are not that expensive. I have one I will sell you, but it has no adhesive on the backing

Having my "H" taken several time I would offer this. Make sure you buy a OEM emblem. Each "H" does have a different curve backing that sometimes one can't see with the naked eye. It could be the right size, but it won't work.

OEM may cost a bit more. Don't try to save a few $$$ on your new 08.
