Default New HPDE insurance

Seems like a pretty good deal, hopefully it lasts

Los Gatos, eh? That's right down the road.

I think it's a smart idea, considering I usually see 0-2 wrecks at any given HPDE.

I wonder if they'll ever extend coverage to time trials and time attacks...or if that just falls under the category of racing.

Now thats cool, I am going 2 look into that. its about time there can be coverage at non competitive events... might get more people out there sooner in their modifying careers.

TT's and TA are competition, so no, they will never cover that. By the way, why don't you run your CRX in NASA TT in norcal? I'm running a B18C powered CRX in TT, it is a TTB car, but has been running in TTA. Having a blast getting used to it...slow so far, but getting better. Ran a 2:07 at t-hill last time out with a lot of time still left on the table. You should come out.

^ Hey Percy, glad to see you are liking the car better. I'm slapping some race konis on mine this weekend, and I should be just where I want to be chassis wise...

I'm really liking the car now....I just need more seat time. I don't think I could ever go back to a heavy race car after driving the CRX. My next racecar will be an Exige, but that's probably 3-5 years down the road. As I said, the car is competitive in TTB/PTB, and still has a lot of time left in it. good times!

Pretty cool

I actually work for Lockton (but a different division) and haven't heard about this, I'll have to show this to some of my coworkers since some of these insurance people think I'm nuts
