Default starting parts car w/ no key

alright, here's my problem. I've came across a crx for sale for $150. The interior and front of the car is in excellent condition, but its been totalled in a rear end colision. The guy said its mine for $150, but he's lost the keys while its been sitting. I really dont want to have to pay a tow bill or a locksmith just to get this parts car to my house so i hoping somebody on here could tell me how to start it by cutting the ignition wires. I heard you can cut the 2 color matched ignition wires and touch them, but i've looked under my dash and i've found 2 black and 2 white. I'm not sure which to use and would greatly appreciate it if someone would email me some info on this.

No i am not trying to steal a car.. and please do not reply to this post for the ovious reasons. Please email me at pod@neo.rr.com

thanks,
Joe

Do you intend to drive it? What about the steering wheel lock?

As for starting it, you can always push-start it.

yea, I need to drive it from this guys house to my yard. How's it possible to do without a key.

I work at one of those little key boxes so i have access to honda blanks if that could be used in any way.

just go to honda, show the bill of sale with the vin number on it and they should be able to make you a key using the VIN numbers (if they are stupid).
but, the most sure fire way is to bring the guy who sold it to you with his registration and some form of id, and go to the dealer and get them to cut you a key. if you go with option 1 and they go through with it, remind them before you leave to not be so stupid, coz any idiot can go there with a bill of sale and get a key cut and steal someones car.

Pull the passenger door lock cylinder and take it to a locksmith. most will cut the key for around $10.

Are the door cylinders the same configuration as the ignition? I know some cars have door cylinders that don't use all of the key, and making a key from the door cylinder might not work in the ignition.

strictly a thought(not that i have ever done this)but um pull the steering column panels off, take a drill and drill out the cylinder lock,it is held on by the two shear bolts you see.this will enable you to steer it anyway.then i guess either hot wire or push start somehow

On the streering colum there is a metal collar. It is just below the ignition.
The collar has two bots that hold it together. The bolts should have slots on the top. You need to remove the bolts and the collar and the steering wheel will unlock.
I had to do this on my parts car. The bolts were tight, so I took a large flathead and a hammer beat the hell out of the bolts until they loosend up. Its really not that hard.
As far as starting the car I dont know. I moved mine with a trailer.
