any other way to tell stock valve springs apart other then color?
A local guy was selling itr valve springs so he says so i had a friend pick them up for me, he comes back and they don't have any color markings to them. I thought there are different rates and that why the intake was yellow and exhaust blue. So is there any other way i can tell these apart or should i just give them back to the kid?
I'm pretty sure they're 2 different lengths
check a copy of a helms and they detail in there what the length of both the intake and exhaust are supposed to be according to service schedules and what have you.
I do have mine in a box behind me, but as I'm just leaving for work I can't be bothered to measure them just now, sorry

take them to a machine shop and they will be able to measure height, coil bind, and seat pressure...then you will know FO SHO!!
