Default Wheels. Alittle Help Please.

Well I just recently bought a 00' Civic Si w/ 5 Lug Conversion. Found a Deal on some Work Emotion CR Kai 18x9.5 +20. Do you think these would be to big? I know ill have to roll the Fenders&Quarter Panels. Also what Tire size should I go w/ for these to work if they are able too. Thanks for anyone that Helps!

Army Strong. Head'n home on the 4th of Aug w00t!
Chris.

Heres the Civic.

Its just my opinion but I think theyd be to big. Some 16's would look cleaner.

i agree, 18s are VERY big. I think 16s are your best bet on a civic.

+1 I have 17s and I rub constantly 18s would require you to put a lift kit on the car.

throw some d's on that bitch

lol on a more serious note, 18" would be pretty large for a civic.

I'd say if the car is stock power wise (b16's in 99-00 SI's are weaaaak ), stock brakes, and lowered stay away from those big rims. all they are gonna do is make you car feel slower and you will get brake fade like crazy.

bigger tires = more rotating mass = more work the cars gotta do. (accelerating/braking) or atleast so im told.

I'd say civics belong on 16"s and below for the most part. 17"s can look nice but i have a set and honestly they collect more dust in my garage then anything.

an for all you guys talking bout rubbing tires lol if the OP lifted the car back up to stock height they would fit no problemo. my ricer buddy has got a 99 si and he was rolling on dubs for a while... looked silly. i made fun of him every time i saw them till he put his 16"s back on.

yes those are some dubs on an SI

You can clearly see the intercooler in the front of the car so that tells me not stock power wise but still... 16's or 15's

And yea they would fit... theres a guy in the forum with a Del Sol on 20's.

Those rims are too big. The max you should go is 16".
